Navy

Lockheed Martin Corp. Awarded $7.8 Billion Contract for F-35 Aircraft

Lockheed Martin Corp. has been awarded a fixed-price incentive (firm target), firm-fixed-fee modification to a previously awarded contract to produce and deliver 126 Lot 17 F-35 aircraft. The contract includes 81 F-35A aircraft for the U.S. Air Force and various governments, 26 F-35B aircraft, and 19 F-35C aircraft for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.

In addition, Lockheed will integrate air system manufacturing sources, and provide software data loads, critical safety items, and red gear for the Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, non-Department of Defense participants, and Foreign Military Sales customers. Work will be performed at various locations, predominantly in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by August 2026. The contract is funded by fiscal 2021 and 2023 aircraft procurement funds for the Air Force and Navy, FMS customer funds, and non-DOD participant funds.

Drew Marine USA Awarded $83 Million Contract for Shipboard Chemical Treatment

Drew Marine USA has been awarded a firm-fixed-price contract to provide products and incidental services for shipboard chemical treatment of diesel, gas turbine, and steam-powered ships. The contract includes delivery and services worldwide, with a five-year ordering period beginning in April 2023. The contract was awarded through full and open competition, and the Navy’s Military Sealift Command is the contracting activity.

 

Missile Defense Agency

Northrop Grumman Corp. Wins Big With a $155M+ Defense Contract

Northrop Grumman Corp. from Chandler, Arizona has received a firm-fixed-price modification to a prototype agreement. This extends the existing period of their technology development phase, which involves the continued development and refinement of their Glide Phase Intercept (GPI) concept. The modification is worth $29,361,147, increasing the agreement’s total value to $155,659,655. The contractor will perform the work in various locations: Chandler, Arizona, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Huntsville, Alabama, San Diego, California, and Linthicum, Maryland.

This initial agreement was competitively awarded via Other Transaction Authority provided by the 10 U.S. Code 4022 and the Enhanced Hypersonic Defense Broad Agency Announcement with Glide Phase Interceptor Special Topic, HQ0851-21-S-0001. Research, development, test, and evaluation funds will be used to fund the modification. The period of performance for this modification is from April 28, 2023, through March 12, 2024. The government will obligate $29,361,147 at the time of award. The Missile Defense Agency from Dahlgren, Virginia is the contracting activity (HQ08512290002).

Raytheon Awarded a $152M Defense Contract for Continuing Development of Their GPI Concept

Raytheon Missiles and Defense have been awarded a firm-fixed-price modification to a prototype agreement to extend the existing period of their technology development phase. The modification is worth $17,700,482, increasing the agreement’s total value to $152,808,447. The contractor will focus on the continued development and refinement of their GPI concept. The modification will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, El Dorado Hills, California, Aurora, Colorado, Tewksbury, Massachusetts, Woburn, Massachusetts, Andover, Massachusetts, McKinney, Texas, and Huntsville, Alabama.

Army

DCS Corp. Awarded $2.1B Defense Contract for Technical & Engineering Services

DCS Corp., based in Alexandria, Virginia, has been awarded a $2,090,987,106 contract to provide technical and engineering services support for the Combat Capabilities Development Command Ground Vehicle Systems Center. The contract was awarded after a competitive process, with three bids received via the Internet. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, and the estimated completion date is April 27, 2031. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Contracting Command based in Detroit Arsenal, Michigan.

Lockheed Martin Receives $615.9M Modification to Contract for Rocket Systems

Lockheed Martin Corp., based in Grand Prairie, Texas, has received a $615,958,506 modification to contract W31P4Q-23-C-0006 for the production of High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems. Work will be performed across multiple locations in Grand Prairie, Texas; Archbald, Pennsylvania; Camden, Arkansas; York, Pennsylvania; Palm Bay, Florida; Brownsboro, Alabama; Boca Raton, Florida; Whippany, New Jersey; Clearwater, Florida; Dallas, Texas; and Jackson, Mississippi.

The estimated completion date for this project is May 30, 2026. Fiscal operation and maintenance, Recovery Act funds in the amount of $207,921,658 were obligated at the time of the award. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Contracting Command based in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

 

Air Force

ENSCO Inc. Awarded $24.2M Systems Engineering & Integration Support Stopgap Contract

ENSCO Inc., based in Springfield, Virginia, has been awarded a $24.2 million firm-fixed-price task order (FA2521-23-F-0149) for the Systems Engineering & Integration Support Stopgap contract. The contract will provide interim mission-critical support to integrate new systems, upgrades, and modifications of fielded systems and services into the Launch and Test Range System. It aims to standardize systems engineering processes across both Eastern and Western Ranges to avoid a lapse in system engineering and integration services during the transition to the upcoming Space Force Range Contract.

Work will be performed at Patrick Space Force Base and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida; Vandenberg Space Force Base and Los Angeles Air Force Base, California; and Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2025. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition, and fiscal 2023 procurement funds, as well as research and development funds, in the amount of $12,076,078, are being obligated at the time of the award. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick Space Force, Florida, is the contracting activity (47QRAA-20-D006C).

ENSCO Inc. Receives $18M Contract for Space Systems Engineering and Integration Bridge

ENSCO Inc., based in Springfield, Virginia, has been awarded an $18,058,385 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Center, Space Training Acquisition Office, and Defensive Cyber Operations – Space systems engineering and integration bridge. Work will be performed in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2024. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition, and fiscal 2023 research, development, test, and evaluation funds in the amount of $11,412,668 are being obligated at the time of the award. Space Systems Center, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, is the contracting activity (FA8820-23-C-0003).

 

Defense Health

Accenture Federal Services LLC Awarded Contract for Defense Healthcare Management Systems Initiative

Accenture Federal Services LLC, based in Arlington, Virginia, has been awarded a sole-source contract valued at $24,001,674. The contract supports the Program Executive Office – Defense Healthcare Management Systems, Joint Operational Medicine Information Systems Program Management Office’s Globally-Integrated Medical Common Operating Picture initiative.

This effort aims to provide enterprise-wide, real-time medical situational awareness, enabling operational medicine information sharing and collaboration both inside and outside the medical community. The contract includes a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods, with a completion date of April 2028. The work may take place within the contiguous United States, outside the contiguous United States, or both. The Defense Health Agency, Defense Healthcare Management Systems Contracting Division in Arlington, Virginia is the contracting agency.

IntelliDyne LLC Wins Modification Contract for Defense Health Agency IT Support Services

IntelliDyne LLC, headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia, has been awarded a $14,536,385 modification contract for network support services at Defense Health Agency (DHA) headquarters locations. This award modifies a previously awarded, firm-fixed-price bridge task order. The IT support services provided under the contract include operating and maintaining a fully integrated site and enterprise IT support model for all current DHA headquarters sites, network domains (DHAN), systems support services, and associated infrastructures and enclaves.

Work will be performed primarily at Defense Health Headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia, as well as other locations in Virginia, Texas, Colorado, California, Illinois, and Maryland. The contract’s total value and total obligated amount are now $29,072,756. Operation and maintenance funds for the amount of $14,536,385 are obligated for the fiscal year 2023 to fund Option Year One with a performance period from May 1, 2023, to Oct. 31, 2023. The contracting activity is the Defense Health Agency’s Professional Services Contracting Division in Falls Church, Virginia.
