Fairfax, Va., January 02, 2014 – DIGITALSPEC, LLC was awarded an 8(a) contract by the Department of Homeland Security/Customs and Border Protection (CBP), to provide system support for Security Management Assessment Reporting Tool (SMART) capabilities – to automate enterprise security program data collection, analysis, and management reporting in order for CBP personnel to perform their necessary missions. DIGITALSPEC will provide technical and programmatic consulting services for the enhanced system operational, maintenance, integration, and enhancement support of SMART in order to maintain an efficient, viable, and cutting-edge security management tool for CBP. The SMART application consists of SQL Server Visual Basic, and Share Point.
Under this contract DIGITALSPEC Program team will collaborate and support the Office of Internal Affairs (IA), for ensuring compliance with all the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) wide programs and policies relating to corruption, misconduct, or mismanagement and for executing the internal security, integrity, and management inspections programs.
