DIGITALSPEC Wins $4 Million Multi-Year Prime Contract to provide P-3 Program Management and Acquisition Support Services for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP)

Washington, D.C.- DIGITALSPEC, LLC announced today that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has awarded DIGITALSPEC an 8(a) Prime Contract in September of 2015 to provide program management and acquisition support services for the P-3 Program Management Office (PMO).

Under this contract, the Acquisition Support team will provide program management support for the planning, development, and execution of the P-3 Program, support P-3 Program operational requirements, analyze and develop P-3 Program requirements, and implement a continuous improvement process. In addition, DIGITALSPEC will facilitate the collaboration of stakeholders to ensure consensus on highly visible but critical decisions relative to the status and health of the CBP P-3 aircraft fleet as well as provide acquisition planning support and other business support functions include responding to DHS and CBP management inquiries relative to the planning, status/health and future needs of the P-3 PMO and contract reconciliation support.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Air and Marine (OAM) operates 14 Lockheed Orion P-3 patrol aircraft. OAM P-3s are high-endurance, all-weather, tactical turbo-prop aircraft, which are utilized primarily for long-range patrols along the U.S. border and in the drug Transit Zones. CBP P-3 aircraft provide the bulk of their time conducting long-range surveillance, information gathering, and interdiction missions in support of the Joint Interagency Task Force-South (JIATF-S).
