DIGITALSPEC Exhibited and Attended at the 21st Annual OSDBU Procurement Conference

Chantilly, VA – April 21, 2011. DIGITALSPEC exhibited and attended the 21st Annual Offices of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) Procurement Conference sponsored by the Federal government. The OSDBU Procurement Conference is a national conference fostering business partnerships between the Federal Government, its Prime Contractors, and small, minority, service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVOB), veteran-owned, HUBZone, and women-owned businesses.

This conference was an overwhelming success for DIGITALSPEC that allowed us to demonstrate our capabilities and past performance to leaders in our field. It was an open forum for us to showcase our service offerings and prove how we can aid clients in supporting their mission and solving some of their challenges.

Over 100+ federal client visited our booth and engaged us in business conversations. DIGITALSPEC’s President and Conference Attendee, Dr. Charles A. Dadoo, was impressed with the list of Federal and Local Government attendees, “We met with a large number of Federal and Local Government agencies that want to have that open dialogue on how small business, including DIGITALSPEC, can help them solve their business needs and meet their mission. We discussed our willingness to partner with them to develop and realize the solutions they need.” As a result of the conference, DIGITALSPEC has successfully developed relationships to continue to grow and succeed. The interest in DIGITALSPEC is exciting and overall it provided DIGITALSPEC valuable networking opportunities that are now on the roadmap for future growth.


The OSDBU Council is an informal organization of Federal small business program officials that comes together monthly to exchange and discuss information on acquisition methods, issues and strategies; small business program initiatives and processes; and small business related outreach events that permit their respective agencies to increase their utilization of small businesses as prime and subcontractors to meet their annual requirements for services and goods. The OSDBU holds the annual Directors’ Procurement Conference in order to provide networking and educational opportunities for small businesses. Small business owners, representatives and Federal small business officials as well as large corporations attend the annual conference.
