Fairfax, VA, April 26, 2018 — The Virginia Chamber of Commerce honored DIGITALSPEC, LLC. (DSPEC) at the 2018 Virginia FANTASTIC 50 Awards Banquet held on April 26th at Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, VA. This prestigious, twenty-third annual FANTASTIC 50 event, showcased fifty of the fastest growing companies in Virginia and more than 450 business owners and professionals gathered to celebrate their shared success.

As a second-time recipient of this award, DIGITALSPEC continues to stand out as one of Virginia’s finest and holds that title with nineteen other Fairfax companies.  Rankings are based on sales and revenue over a four-year period and this year DIGITALSPEC placed 19th out of 50 companies as achieving the highest overall growth in VA.  This was a great accomplishment from last year’s ranking of 26th out of 50!

“To be honored once again, among so many innovative and exceptional companies, is truly humbling,” stated Dr. Charles Dadoo, CEO of DIGITALSPEC. “We will continue to bring value to our customers and ensure that our commitment to DSPEC’s mission is always our top priority.”

Virginia’s FANTASTIC 50 Awards Banquet is a signature event of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. Now in its 23rd year, this annual event is the only statewide award recognizing Virginia’s fastest growing business. Nominations for the 2018 FANTASTIC 50 were sought last fall from local chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, and through the sponsors’ networks.

The Virginia Chamber of Commerce recognized winners for their entrepreneurial success and contribution to Virginia’s economic vitality. This award highlights all types of businesses in Virginia and the banquet allows for the opportunity to network with the hard-working people who makes them possible.

DSPEC President, Vishal Dadoo, touched on DSPEC’s continuous and prosperous growth, “We have several initiatives in 2018 that will expand DSPEC’s footprint in the DC, MD, and VA area.  We appreciate the VA Chamber of Commerce for this award and recognize the exceptional work they do bringing companies together in Virginia.”

To be eligible, a company must be privately held with headquarters in Virginia, show revenues between $200,000 and $200 million, and demonstrate positive revenue growth and positive net income in its most recent fiscal year over the previous year. Companies are judged on four-year revenue history.

“We know that companies will grow and expand where they have the skilled workforce to support their mission,” said Barry DuVal, president and CEO of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. “We are glad to toast the entrepreneurial spirit of these Virginia business leaders and the dedicated employees who have brought these companies continued success.”

The Virginia Chamber of Commerce is the largest business organization in the Commonwealth, with more than 26,000 members. The Chamber is a non-partisan, business advocacy organization that works in the legislative, regulatory, civic and judicial arenas to act as the catalyst for positive change in all areas of economic development and competitiveness for Virginia. In December 2017, the Chamber released an update to its long-term strategic economic development plan, Blueprint Virginia 2025, which engaged over 6,000 business and community leaders to lay out a plan to getting Virginia back to the top of national business climate rankings.
