Fairfax, VA – DIGITALSPEC, LLC. announced today they have been selected to host the ITIL Foundation certification course for the U.S. Department of Education, Federal Student Aid (FSA) to provide a general overview of the IT Service Management Lifecycle which is outlined in ITIL’s five core books – Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, and Continual Service Improvement. ITIL’s “service lifecycle” consists of 26 processes and four functions and the training will provide on-site ITIL-approved instruction, associated materials, and an incorporated Certification test.

This training is being provided to production and security staff responsible for overseeing support contractor’s operations and maintenance of FSA support systems. The DIGITALSPEC conducted training will provide individuals a common framework to discuss and review operations and management of FSA systems with support contractors.
