DIGITALSPEC Awarded Contract to Provide Technical IT Tier 2 Support to U.S. Department of State

Fairfax, VA, – February 19, 2019DIGITALSPEC, LLC (DSPEC) has been awarded a contract with the United States Department of State (Department) and will provide qualified and expert technical Tier 2 support services to the Office of Inspector General (OIG) through a Tier 2 Help Desk.

The OIG operates and maintains an Information Technology (IT) architecture that better supports OIG’s mission as the Department’s independent and objective oversight organization. The IT architecture involves independently OIG-managed network and systems, which maximizes OIG’s independence, security, and control of the IT environment.

DSPEC will provide Tier 2 support to OIG’s internal LAN environment and other systems and services under OIG’s management and will provide highly reliable, effective, timely and secure LAN support and services with minimal disruption to services.

DSPEC possesses a Top Secret Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO) enabling a quick ramp-up of cleared personnel who can hit the ground running on Day 1, therefore minimizing transition time.

DSPEC’s IT Tier 2 team members will provide a full range of IT support services that include configuration and deployment of approved hardware and software, warranty management, asset and inventory management, and end-user support.
